HIM: What a nice break from the 100+ Greek style pizzas in my area. Thin crust, fresh ingredients and kinda sorta crunchy. I grew up with Greek pizza, however, my other half, being a city girl, grew up with Italian style thin crust pizza. That being said, I learned to LOVE and favor that thin crust style pizza. This pizza is exactly how I thought it was going to be. However. Here is my advice, my input, complaints and praises for Bob & Timmy's of North Smithfield: -Order extra cheese on your pizza, there was not a lot of cheese on our pizzas so when we got it the cheese tended to dry up like when you put your nachos in the microwave. It got hard and crusty. (Wow, that sounds so wrong when you say that sentence out loud) -There is a full bar with very cheap prices. So cool for sure. There are some good beers on draft if your the type to step outside of a Miller/Coors/Bud light tap. -Place has atmosphere potential: Maybe some newer softer lighting, big booths, pub style seating/some decorative decor and go ahead and break the budget by putting in some ultra thin flat screens to watch while I enjoy my IPA and BBQ pizza ..........I say you got a gold mine my friend. (P.S. A little more effort on keeping trash off the floor will work too,) Like this place a lot. Going back!

I'm sticking with a 3 star rating. Stopped by yesterday (Monday) around 1pm for lunch. Place was nearly empty. Only a couple people on staff. Ordered two pizzas which took about 40 minutes to prepare. Food was good but damn this place is SLOW. Not a good choice for a business lunch as it's difficult to get in and out of here in a decent amount of time.

Amazing pizza and beer the pizzas are all made fresh in are absolutely amazing just as good as Federal Hill but larger in not as crowded so it's better for couples

  • Michaela M.

Have been to this place about a dozen times. The food is fantastic, pizza especially. Calzones are a great deal. Great selection of beers on tap - drink 2 and you get a free glass - another incentive to drink more beer. Unfortunately the place is always dirty, even when it is not busy - waitstaff talking with one another while there is food all over the floor and the bar is filthy. That is the only negative, 5 stars if they ever cleaned the place.

This place has the best cheese pizza I ever ate I eat here once a week I have never had a bad meal from here your awesome bob and Timmys

Very good pizza and salad and in a quiet location (not crowded at all).

We only get takeout here, but the girls on the phone are always friendly and efficient. The pizza is outstanding if you want grilled pizza. We've never had pizza from them that was not grilled but everything we've tried has been spot on. Their calzones are also top notch. Sandwich variety is limited, but the grilled veggie salad might be the best meal ever for a hot summer night - cold fresh lettuce, dressing with perfect acidity, veggies that are grilled but not cooked into oblivion.

love the food, great prices...the grilled pizza is AMAZING...the atmosphere is fun...kids welcome :)

Two Italian dishes are absolutely fantastic, but only for take out. The fluorescent lighting is so offensive that I can't eat in. Staff did not seem friendly. I wanted to love this place too. Since the food was so good ill likely return...but only for take out.

The margarita pizza is delicious! We sat outside and it took quite awhile for anyone to come and ask what we wanted for drinks, and then it took long to get our pizza, but it was worth the wait.

This is one of my hardest Reviews of all time.. The Star score needs explanation. Bobby And Timmy's Has two locations One on Federal Hill Providence and one in North Smithfield I am a Big Fan and frequent Dinner of The Providence location it is one of the Best pizza places around No complaints at all and The North Smithfield Location Food wise is the same as Providence No complaints at all. So Why the 2 Star rating you ask??? It Breaks my heart to say that the Smithfield Location has a Fly problem Very Bad actually. One of the worst Fly problems ive ever seen. They were all around us buzzing we figured it would be a issue we saw the table in front of us keeping there food covered with napkins so we asked to have ours in to go boxes to keep the flies away. The pizza came in all its glory I had a piece and then it happen about 5-8 flies swarming us on the Boxes trying to get at my Pizza Treasure... It was so disgusting that we asked for the check and took our precious dinner Home to Eat. The only explanation we got was "IDK its been bad this week", They didnt offer us anything they just were like sorry..see ya.. Other tables followed our lead Children cried of the nagging bugs and a promising night out turned into a sad night in on the couch with otherwise great pizza and Shark week on TV. I may make a call to Dept of Health it was that bad im not kidding..... Other than Flies it was awesome and the Providence Location Is one of the Best this yelp review breaks my heart :(

Super good pizza. Spinach feta is the best. Lobster ravioli really good as well. It's our new go to pizza place though a bit loud when busy

  • Malinda C.

Soups are good however took forever to get it today. I;m very picky about pizza since i have my own backyard brick oven and have never been a fan of grilled pizza - but i find they put tooooo many toppings and it makes for a soggy pizza.

Best wood grilled pizza ever. They don't hold back on the toppings either

Do not attempt this place when they are busy. Short staffed, waitresses were not prepared for a full house. We ordered drinks that took forever, the appetizer came before the drinks. when the pizza came, we were out of drinks and no room on the table, so I picked up the empty dishes and appetizer plate to fit the pizza and the waitress put down the pizza and walked away while I was holding a stack of dirty dishes, never offered another round of drinks, had to keep going to the bar ourselves, had to get our own silverware. We were only a table of four, one app and one large cheese pizza not all that complicated. The bathrooms aren't label, so my daughter kept walking into closets, there was NO SOAP in the bathrooms, for staff or for customers. Not up to par when it comes to sanitation, bartenders are not exempt from this! Food was good, probably better off with take out. I gave them 3 stars, because the food was good, the service is just lack of training and can easily be fixed if someone helps them

  • Stephanie V.

Did a create your own pizza of buffalo Mac and cheese and it's delicious. The buffalo doesn't over power and you can still taste the Mac and cheese without it blending into the pizzas own cheese. Definitely coming back!

Solid wood grilled pizza place and more. Great if you want to do take out for the whole family. They are very friendly and service is very fast!

Dropping this to two stars. So many folks love Bob & Timmy's I still WANT to like it. They have some unique combinations for pizza. My daughter LOVES their calimari pizza. Unfortunately, though we still get take out once in a great while, I find the pizza has too much thick crust and the cheese is frequently loaded on with a backhoe. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE cheese but this is a new level of covering. I have a friend that uses a thinner cover to keep his pool from freezing. Anyways, I'm always hopeful here because so many love it but I'm repeatedly disappointed.

I have ordered from this place twice. The first time I ordered their Pizza 1 grilled and an order of teriyaki wings. Both did not disappoint, my only complaint is that the pizza wasn't piping hot like I had hoped. I had to microwave it when I got home and I'm not even10 minutes away. Overall, the grilled pizza is so good! It's nice to try something different and I personally love thin crust so it's great. The Pizza 1 had some unique cheeses and sprinkled with parsley. My family like it too, but the cheese blend was a little too adventurous for them. I found it tasty though. The wings were great!! I loved the portion and the flavor. I wish they had more flavors than Buffalo and teriyaki (like barbeque) but they were yummy! I ordered a cheese pizza on the grill last night and it was very good! A little warmer this time and loved the flavors, even though it was just a plain 'ol cheese pizza. Leftover test: pizza 1 came out a little mushy the next day, cheese pizza was almost as good the next day and wings were good no matter when I warmed them up. I knocked off a star on my overall experience because of the lack of temperature of my pizza. Also, delivery would be a great service to have as parking can be tough since they are located by an indoor sports complex and the restaurant is a bit disorganized.

Absolutely awful dining experience. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, and our young waitress treated us as though we were an annoyance. Upon arrival I asked of there was a Gluten Free or allergy menu. The tone and look on the waitresses face should have bend enough to make me walk out the door right then. Instead, I informed her that I have many severe allergies and would need to ask questions before ordering. I proceeded to ask her what was in the southwest veggie burger and her reply was "I don't know." I asked her to please ask the kitchen and she came back a moment later stating that they didn't know. I asked if she could look at a box for ingredients, or somehow find out since my allergies are life threatening. The server took the rest of the tables order and proceeded into the kitchen with it. I met her back at the waitress station and asked her to please get a manager, as I would like to speak with them in regard to the menu. First she claimed there wasn't a manager there, and I replied the head chef would be fine. At this point she turned and "huffed," returning a few minutes later with a very disheveled looking man from the kitchen (quite honestly he looked like a dishwasher). I politely informed him of my severe allergies and asked him about the ingredients. First he replied that they make everything fresh. Then he stated it all comes in boxes and they are all thrown away. I informed him that RI State Law states that when a restaurant is notified that a patron has a food allergy, the manager (who is supposed to be trained in food safety and food allergies) is supposed to come over, take your order, over see the preparation of the meal, and then deliver it to you personally. I continued to question the "manager" ever do politely as to whether they had any boxes in the walk in that contained ingredients, etc. he went back into the kitchen and sent the waitress back out 3 minutes later stating that they found the ingredients on an invoice. She rambled off a few ingredients off the top of her head, never producing a list of ingredients, and the "manager" never returned. On top of everything else, she was also a horrible waitress, and we were all very displeased with our experience. Our servers name was Nicole, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not only were they breaking state laws, but they were also putting my life in danger, as well as anyone else's lives who have food allergies. Overall, it was a waste of $45 and more frustration than it was worth. Get your act together Bob & Timmy's and hire some competent staff as well as a real manager. I feel more than justified saying all of this, haven gotten sick/cross contamination a number of times, as well as the number of years that I spent working in the food service industry.

After going to the Federal Hill Bob and Timmy's for many years in the last year or so I have been to this B&T's and have been there at least a dozen times. The salads are consistently good and the house balsamic is a great dressing. Although the pasta dishes are terrific with great sized portions, when we are here, it is for the wood grilled pizza. Specifically, I recommend the mushroom, spinach and feta - an incredible combination deserving of the accolades it has earned over the years. It is definitely in my top tier of pizza I've had anywhere. The fact that it is hidden away in nearby North Smithfield is such a bonus! pizza's The four cheese with pink vodka sauce is also consistently good and has a unique and addictive flavor. I also recommend skipping aps, but do order a desert pizza with fresh fruit - loaded with raspberries, blueberries and sliced strawberries, this is a declicious way to end a meal, and - by the way - the leftover is perfect with coffee in the morning!

This is definitely our favorite pizza restaurant in RI/MA. Their grilled pizza is amazing. They have several creative options including the Vegetable Medley which is our favorite. Their calamari is yummy with pepper rings and marinara sauce. We have also had their calzones, boneless buffalo chicken, salads, etc.... all good. Never disappoints. B&T is also very kid friendly. Plenty of high chairs (one of the seatbelts are broken...), a kids menu which is good, and the noise level is high enough that if our kids are louder than they should be, it isn't too disturbing. There is not a changing table in the bathrooms... that would be a nice add on B&T. My only slight complaint is the wait staff. It seems they are short staffed about 25% of the time we go. Keep in mind that we have been there a lot. All of the staff is very friendly though and the food is so good, we forgive usually. Outside seating is nice with a lake and tree view.

Like the fact of thin crust, got a sausage and a cheese pizza. The pizza was better the next morning, cold. The sauce tasted like prego, or ragu. I was expecting more of a homemade taste.

Cant go wrong with grilled pizza NEVERRRR !!! I've been to both locations, but the North Smithfield one is a lot closer to me. I actually prefer this one over the one on the hill. This one has a lot more room and is spacious. i don't feel crapped up at all. this location is in a plaza but it have never been super busy anytime i have come. the service is quick and very friendly the girls are very attentive. i have only gotten their pizza's every time. I have had there trio mushroom, sausage supreme, BBQ chicken and my absolute favorite their special number 1 or 2? lolol its on there special menu BUT I've only seen it at their North Smithfield location. Its like a pesto chicken with parm and other yummy ingredients its just amazing. and the pizza's are pretty big and i like how its cut into squares idk why i think just cause its thin and crispy i like the squares better then a traditionally cut pizza. I have never had a bad pizza from this place. i highly suggest trying them if you haven't yet. you are missing out big time. very good pizza for a good price my go to spot for pizza hands down.

Just as good as there place on the hill. Never disappointed when I come here. If anything little more roomier here than at the original one. They have one of the best true Margarita pizzas. Plus have daily specials and the pasta is amazing as Well. When u can't make it to the hill and want good food go here you won't be disappointed.

The pizza here is so delicious!!! Thin and crispy crust (which I love and prefer)! The ingredients and toppings were very fresh and yummy!! I got the everything pie by the way!!!! If you are looking for thin crust that is crispy and have great toppings (mine had sausage, meatballs, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, olives, and probably more that I am forgetting lol) then go to Bob and Timmy's!!!! You won't regret it :)

First time I went to Bob and Timmy's it was delicious. Second and third time it was subpar. It's gotten worse and worse and my family and I have chosen a different pizza place to go to. Salad is always limp and the pizza we received was like a mosh posh of ingredients. Did not look appetizing. The plain cheese grilled pizza had huge lumps of sauce, which the young children I was serving found gross. Had to buy a whole new pizza for them. My son purchased chocolate milk, and it was basically white milk with a small squirt of chocolate. Not a favorite of my family!

  • Holly W.

I literally eat lunch here 3-5 times a week. It's so delicious. The food is fresh, flavorful, and affordable. Salads are great - creative and filling. The wood grilled pizza. Well, c'mon. Wood grilled. Need I say more. Jose Sanchez makes a mean homemade quacamole. Ask for it! If he's got the ingredients on hand you won't regret it!!! And his wife, Chelsea always has a smile on her face. Really good people offering fabulous fare.

You want an Italian sub, this is the place. Get it with EVERYTHING with oil and vinegar. You've covered all your food groups and one sandwich feeds two. Absolutely delicious

This is tough for me to do since I LOVE the one in Providence. I ordered two pizzas to go. One was just one of their regular cheese pizzas and the other had several types of mushrooms and onion. 1. Took WAAAAY too long for these to be made. The place was busy...but not THAT busy. 2. They were cold when I got them. Like...the cheese had already hardened on the the basic cheese pizza. I was sitting in the place from the time I ordered. The bottom of the box was warm enough when I got them but apparently they just sat for a while. 3. TOO MUCH ONION!!! I like onion...but not when the entire pie is covered...COVERED in 3/4 inch blocks of it. Havent been back since. Will I give them another shot??? We'll see......

Got a pizza today that is half margherita and half lasagna with meatball and sauage added. I like Bob and Timmys but sometimes they put too many toppings on what is supposed to be a more delicate crust. On one slice of pizza there was a massive glob of ricotta. wtf. They need to take a lesson from Al Forno. Also I don't know if they didn't add the meatball or if it was sliced just like the sausage but all the meat looked and tasted the same on there so I don't know. Stick to the cheese pizza or light toppings here. The lasagna was just ok, margherita was good. They have a freezer full of Ben and Jerrys ice cream so that I love. I was initially a little put off by the strip mall location until I seen the outdoor patio area that overlooks a nice pond and wooded area. I like the decor of the inside too, similar to the Providence location

  • Joanna R.

Friendly staff. HUGE portions - prices are appropriate for what you get from quantity and quality. I know most would want to try everything...me...but save yourself time and just go for the wood grilled, skip the traditional unless you are in the mood for dough. Nachos - Crazzzyyyy cheeseyness - not for the lactose intolerant. Calamari delicious and an abundance of banana peppers :) I can't wait to got back...especially since I found they have Palm Beer on Draft!!!

We have been to the Smithfield location on numerous occasions and this time was great like every other. We sat outside on the nice patio overlooking a beautiful pasture with the sunsetting. We started with their simple nachos. Crispy tortilla chips with melted cheese, sour cream and their homemade salsa. These were excellent at six dollars. A great value and plenty to share for three or four people. We had the trio of wild mushroom pizza grilled. Again absolutely perfect. The consistency at Bob and Timmy's is great. My daughter had the chicken Parm with fettuccine and pink vodka sauce and Gorgonzola a special request easily honored by our great server Sarah. The one thing lacking at Bob and Timmy's is the desserts they do have a special grilled pizza that has fruit toppings but I would like a cannoli or maybe a really good cheesecake to finish the meal. They do have a wide selection of Ben & Jerry's ice cream products. I highly recommend Bob and Timmy's for a simple casual night out with great food fantastic service especially with Sarah!

Love this place. Wood grilled crust is amazing, and my kids love the spaghetti & meatball. The sausage Supreme pizza is my go-to, complete with red onion and chunks of red and green peppers. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I bring the kids here for dinner at least a few times a month!

Great place great food tucked in the back of this plaza...pretty great pizza and I love that you get a free glass with the purchase of 2 draft beers! My boyfriend and I get 2 each every time so we can get our free glasses! Friendly staff as well

What can I say? Bob and Timmy's has some life changing wood grilled pizza. I love this location because you get all of the flavor without the hassle of parking and dealing with Federal Hill shenanigans. We tried the great white pizza with clams and it was amazingly delicious. We also tried the sausage supreme -- another great choice! When we arrived, there was a baby shower being held in the main dining area. There's a nice outdoor dining area, but it was a bit chilly that day for that. We sat in the bar to give the party some space, but there was certainly no lack in attention from the server. She was super friendly in taking our order, making great suggestions on food and the drink specials. She even asked me for my name and used it throughout our conversation. She is definitely an asset to the team. I most certainly will visit again... and have the clam pizza; it's the closest thing to Pepe's I can find around here!

Lover of all things pizza I was surprised to hear of this place that I have never been. We went there initially as part of the pizza challenge but had to come back again for more. It's located in an odd spot off of 146 and may be tough to find but I'm glad we did. Both times our server was Sam and she was fantastic. My family is kind of jokey and she was great and went along with us and our bad jokes. She kept an eye on our drinks , kept them full , and checked to be sure our food came out right and we had everything we needed. Great service ! It's a very casual place and would be A good place to take the kids. There's a patio with outdoor seating also if you so desire to be outside. Onto the food. Very generous portions. Also reasonable. We had an appetizer. Four beers. And three dinners for 70$. That's a lot of food for three people. I had a buffalo chicken calzone. It was very tasty. My dad had spaghetti and clams and he said it was good and he's tough to please. My cousin had chicken park and declared it delicious. We had fried pickles too and they were nothing short of amazing. They say all the ingredients are fresh and that is correct. Everything we had was definitely not frozen. I've heard they have a second location in providence also but I like it here. We will be back and hope to see you all there too !

As a resident of Federal Hill, I sure have heard about Bob and Timmy's. I'm not a big fan of the wicked busy atmospheres of the Hill, so my boyfriend and I were delighted when we heard of the North Smithfield location. Parking is abundant. Great lunch specials. My boyfriend and I ordered the teriyaki wings and the four cheese grilled pizza. Teriyaki wings (11$) came as a dozen, and the sauce was tangy, nothing too special though. The pizza (15$) was unique. I'm a huge fan of pink vodka sauce... but that and the cheese blend was a little overpowering. In the future, I will probably stick to a regular cheese and one topping grilled pizza. The one downfall, prices. You're paying for the Federal Hill experience, in North Smithfield. The decor isn't really much different than your local pizza parlor, it's the food that makes the prices high I guess? I'll probably keep Bob and Timmy's in my back pocket for a once in a while treat.

After going to B&T in Providence last Sat. and LOVING IT (5 Stars) decided to make the 1 hour drive to try the B&T in N. Smith. VERY DISAPPOINTED ! Place was empty (1 other couple) so we figured we would have excellent food. Waitress was awesome and very friendly, fast and nice. Food yuck. Pizza was barely warm, cheese was not melted - way below average. Then desert pizza had mango on it that was so hard we thought it was an apple that was cut up. Will not go back ! Maybe instead of opening another B&T in Attleboro you should focus on the quality of the food at your 2 restaurants and make sure that it is up to par !! Waste of money and long drive for crappy food !!

Really seriously learned for the first time how good Mac & Cheese pizza can be! We had traditional and came back a 2nd time for 1/2 traditional and 1/2 buffalo chicken... Totally amazing... My husband and I are addicted!

A light thin crust that is awesome! We tried the buffalo chicken and grille pizza the last time we were in. Yum!

Stopped in for a small lunch today and had a decent experience overall. Calamari were perfect, and we shared a Margarita pizza which was underwhelming to be honest. The crust was great initially but the pizza was so wet (were the mozz. and tomatoes put on after?) it soon became very soggy. Also, it lacked a bit of flavor overall. I'll give them exactly one more try only because their reputation is so good. The waitress was nice, prompt, and friendly.

The wood grilled pizza is amazing! Especially the margherita. Our waitress was super friendly and fast. Only downside is the atmosphere is kind of eh. Lots of loud children.

Went to Bob and Timmy's during one of our seemly weekly snow storms. I've had the grilled pizza before and they hit the mark. This day I went for the scampi which had shrimp and lobster. This dish came recommended by the waitress and I loved it. It wasn't your traditional scampi this dish had onions, peppers and lots of lobster and shrimp it worked for me.

When you want Bob & Timmy's and you don't want the crowd, this location will do. It's HUGE (and empty). They could do some more work on cleaning up all the pizza crumbs and washing the tables, but it's still better kept than your average pizza joint. As far as the food goes, I don't know why they even offer regular pizzas here because the wood-grilled pizza is where it's at. Like its Federal Hill counterpart, the Four Cheese pizza with Vodka sauce is amazing. I was a little disappointed by the sauce on their Grilled Chicken pizza. This isn't the usual plum tomato deliciousness like you get on the Hill, it tasted like it was straight out of a Chef Boyardee can. Perhaps the regular cheese pizza uses a different sauce. I hope so. Even though the crust is crispy and chewy and super thin, you still only need one pizza to serve two people. They're 14 inches of goodness. My boyfriend would rate this place a 3 because the only other place he's had grilled pizza is Al Forno. I'm giving it a 4 because it's still damn good pizza that rocks the socks off other pizza joints out there, especially in the North Smithfield area. Oh, and they have a cocktail menu!

  • Jennifer H.

Best pizza in the land. Especially their traditional pizza with any topping variation. My boyfriend and I are favorable to the trio of mushrooms and/or the grille classic.Their salads are delicious and fresh! They also have delicious appetizers and everything is reasonably priced. The icing on the cake is the fact that they have Angry Orchard on draft!

  • DQ S.

Grilled pizza is definitely the way to go here. Four cheese with vodka sauce was dynamite. Three mushroom pizza was delicious, but as with all the veggie toppings THEY CHOP THEM WAY TOO THICK and it tends to get mushy.

  • Kristen S.

Awful! Have been several times now. The pizza is acceptable. Everything else a no. How can you screw up Red wine Sangria..they did. It had a syrupy sweet and bitter taste all at once. Ants walking on the floor (though it did look clean). Wet and soggy steak soft tacos. They consisted of a ton of lettuce, chopped (wet) tomatoes (both fresh but oddly out of place with no seasoning), steak was good, but no flavor or heat. Too much pre-applied sour cream, which should have been left off for the consumer to apply in preferred amounts. I had to ask for some beans and rice..again no heat or spices (which I was charged 3 dollars for..not unreasonable a price if they had enhanced my meal) no guacamole and very tough fajita wraps (which seemed to be microwaved). I will not go and order anything but pizza from now on. Service was fine.

Bob & Timmy's in North Smithfield is one of those "go to" places. It is not a 5 star dining experience, but the food is more than just good. The NS location is very different from the Providence location, offering pros and cons. The Hill offers its own special environment, but there is something to be said for easy parking, ample outdoor seating, and zero traffic. As always, Bob & Timmy's offers huge portions and is pretty affordable. We always order the calamari and split a grilled pizza. I'm a huge fan of the wild mushroom and spinach. The crust can be soggy at times and not my #1 choice for grilled pizza, but definitely decent and dependable. This is the kind of place that you may not write home about, but you always go back.

I have been frequenting Bob and Timmy's for a couple of years. I like ti so much, I thought it would be great to do a review. Having guests from out of town are my best occasions for eating out, and I don't want to risk a bad experience, so I generally choose Bob and Timmy's. The food is clean, fresh and delicious. The pizzaa are great. We always get the thin crust and have eaten almost all choices. The lunch specials of soup/salad/sandwich are consistenly good. The salads are fresh and generous. Actually, all of the food servings are very generous, considering the good quality. The reasons I didn't give 5 stars are that they often are understaffed (the help is always friendly), and the one dish I didn't care for was the Eggplant Fries. The cheese on just didn't complement them. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
